Askiy energy bill and data software for businesses. It pulls in your utility bills and interval data, checks them, and keeps everything together in a single dashboard — so you can track spending, catch overcharges, and see your sustainability progress without piecing it together in spreadsheets. And when you need numbers for a report, they're already there. Along the way, it also surfaces the energy waste and avoidable costs most teams never notice, since that same verified data is what uncovers them in the first place.

Yes. Askiy works with your electricity (hydro) and natural gas bills. You can either link your utility account so bills come in automatically, or email your bills to us each month. Askiy then reads the usage and cost details from each bill into your account.

A spreadsheet is only one part of the equation. It holds raw data, and someone still has to build it, maintain it, and make sense of it. Askiy takes that data, organizes it into easy-to-read formats, validates it, and combines it with market data to give you personalized insights — not just a file you have to interpret and double-check yourself.

Askiy works for organizations of any size: from single-site businesses to multi-location enterprises.

Here’s what we need. Once it’s set up, most of it runs automatically.
Your utility data. Choose one way to provide it:
Option 1: Utility account access. You securely link your utility portal account once, and our team handles gathering your billing history and interval data from there.
Option 2: Bills and Green Button. You email your utility bills to Askiy each month, and our scanner reads them and puts the information into your Askiy account automatically. During onboarding, you also authorize Green Button for all your electricity and natural gas accounts. After that, your data is processed automatically and indefinitely, with no further input from you.
Site meter data, if you have monitoring hardware. With Askiy EMIS, CT monitoring hardware on your site sends meter data through a gateway straight into your Askiy portal.

Yes. Askiy builds your Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas inventory from your natural gas and electricity data, following ISO 14064 standards. Emissions come from your actual consumption, and for electricity, from hourly grid intensity data rather than averages. That makes them numbers you can defend when insurers or stakeholders ask how you got them. If you have monitoring hardware, Askiy also produces audit-ready interval data for ESG and incentive program requirements.
-
Both. A lot of energy waste is invisible until someone’s specifically looking for it, like a power factor penalty buried in a bill, or a rate on a bill that doesn’t match the posted rate. Askiy checks your bills for these, so the same data that powers your reporting also surfaces the extra charges most teams don’t catch until someone happens to notice.
-
No. There's no technical setup on your end, and you don't need a data team to use Askiy. It's built for anyone looking to better understand their energy, whether that's finance, ownership, marketing, facilities, or sustainability. If you or your team would like more training, Askiy is always available to help.
